Description
Business correspondence of Los Angeles and San Bernardino land owner David B. Alexander.
Background
David B. Alexander (1818-1899?) purchased property and settled in Los Angeles in 1884, after having visited California in 1870 and 1882. In his youth he had traveled widely, worked in the Ohio River trade, and developed business investments in Kentucky, Illinois, and Nebraska.
