Background
Born in Cleveland, Fierman attended Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati. In 1957, he became rabbi at Temple Beth Sholom in
Santa Ana. Professor Morton C. Fierman founded and was the director of the Institute of Judaism within the Department of Religious
Studies at CSU, Fullerton.
