The collection consists of presentation boards containing text and illustrations on six campus buildings no longer in existence: the physics tank (by Katie Otim), the Band Shak (by William West), the Stanford Inn (by Emily Duffy), the Thomas Welton Stanford Library (by Julie Padilla), Memorial Arch (by Brian Klinksiek), and the boathouse (by Kate Gibson).

The Stanford ghost building project was part of an ASSU Student Initiated Course in the Spring of 2003.
