    Abstract: The collection consists of a scrapbook containing 224 photographs and other items from Charles Maurice and Bertha R. Stype, documenting their life and travels during the early 1900s. Many of the photographs depict their life and work in the Panama Canal Zone, where Charles worked on the construction of the Panama Canal from 1905-1906. Other photographs in the collection include travels in California, Mexico, and other areas, in addition to family portraits. The scrapbooks also contain a few news clippings and invitations to various events.

    Collection Scope and Contents
