Description
Collection consists of production materials for the Joey Bishop show (1961-65) including music cue sheets, synopsis, credits, stills, and negatives. Also includes music timing sheets and cue sheets for the Danny Thomas show (1962-64).
Background
The Joey Bishop show was a situational comedy produced by Danny Thomas's Bellmar Productions; the pilot, titled Everything happens to me, was aired on Mar. 27, 1961; a new format was adopted the second season along with a new title, The new Joey Bishop show; the second format lasted three seasons, two on NBC and one on CBS, and included Joey Bishop, Abby Dalton, Guy Marks, Corbett Monica, Joe Besser, Mary Treen, and Matthew David Smith.
