American airman during World War II.

Scope and Contents

The Joseph DeMack photographs contain a scrapbook and aerial photographs depicting American airplanes and airmen on the Pacific Ocean air base of Tinian, documenting DeMack's service on the island of Tinian during World War II. The scrapbook includes photographs of the military base on Tinian, along with other documentation of Demack's military service. The separate aerial photographs document US bombings over Japan during the war.
