Description
Dolph Gotelli is Professor Emeritus of Design at UC Davis (1970-2005). The collection includes lecture notes, exhibit catalogs, publications, photographs, and videos related to Gotelli's 35-year career at Davis.
Background
Dolph Gotelli is Professor Emeritus of Design at UC Davis. He began teaching at Davis in 1970, at which time he was the first faculty member of what would become the visual presentation program. Gotelli retired in 2005 to run the UC Davis Design Museum, of which he is also the founder and Director Emeritus. Dolph Gotelli is also an internationally-known collector of vintage Christmas memorabilia and the author of "Wonder & Delight: A Dolph Gotelli Christmas".
