Abstract: Lynda Koolish is a photographer and a professor of English and comparative literature. The collection contains portraits of
gay and lesbian writers. Many of these images appear in Koolish's book
African-American Writers: Portraits and Visions
(Jackson: University Press of Mississippi, c2001).
