Scope and Content of Collection

This collection contains letters written to Winston Leyland and Gay Sunshine Press. Notable correspondents include composer Ned Rorem; Daniel Curzon (aka Daniel R. Brown, author of "Something You Can Do in the Dark"); Alain-Emmanuel Dreuilhe (author of "La Societe Invertie" and "Corps a Corps"); Jean-Luc Pinard-Lectry (editor of "Masques" and author of "La Maman et le Pederaste"); and poet Edward Field. There are also a few photographs of Rorem and an interview with Curzon and the first two-thirds of an article possibly titled "The Lineage" about Gavin Arthur and his relationship with Edward Carpenter, and their connection to Walt Whitman.
