Materials related to the career of Eugene Aserinsky, Ph.D.: education (University of
Maryland and University of Chicago); professional appointments (including military service
in WW2 through faculty positions). Collection inlcudes research notes and statistics;
manuscripts and bibliographical references notes; publications; lecture notes for teaching;
correspondence; 2x2" and glass lantern slides, photographs, and films; "Robot" 35mm camera
and lenses; DVDs of lectures/programs; and publicity about Aserinsky's discovery of REM
sleep and other research. One carton of books. One flat folder file of original polygraph
recordings and dissertation. Materials are in English. Includes 3 DVDs from professional
meeting.
