Description
The Captain Charles Jackson Papers documents Jackson's personal life and military career in the United States Marine Corps from 1934 to 1955.
Background
Captain Charles Jackson was born July 23, 1916 in Clarion, Iowa to William Edward Jackson and Verna Evans Jackson. He entered into duty in the United States Marine Corps in 1934 and served in Tientsin, China from May 18, 1939 to May 20, 1941.
