    This is a typed copy of a manuscript entitled "Story of Capt. W. R. Johnson," relating his experiences in the cattle trade and story of Lieutenant Winters and Colonel Stone's encounter with Indians in Arizona, from the Papers of the Pioneer Society, 1891 January 2. It is assumed that Dr. J. A. Munk made the copy, but the papers are undated and unsigned.
