Brandt, Superintendent of the Union Pacific Railroad Company Transportation Division, Department of Operation, congratulating Aitken on his retirement and his 26 years of exemplary service with Union Pacific.

R.E. Aitken was a carpenter and then a locomotive engineer for the Rio Grande Southern Railroad Company. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad Company in 1969 after 26 years of service.
