    Scope and Contents

    Scrapbooks of newspaper articles written from 1965-1968, featuring Historic Houses of California and the West arranged alphabetically by geographical location or edifice name into two three-ring binders. Some photographs are also included in the collection.
    Most of the articles are from the Los Angeles Times and other California newspapers. Articles include stories about historic buildings in Los Angeles and other regions in California. Also includes information on preservation and demolition and photographs.
