The 1932 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the X Olympiad, were held in Los Angeles, California, from July
30 to August 14, 1932
Scope and Content of Collection
The collection includes announcements, ephemera, guides, photographs, programs, serials, tickets and other printed matter.
There are a small number of items for Olympiads other than 1932. Also a box containing a blue canvas cap, button, and a grouping
taken from an album (identification card for Charles Shelton to Olympic Stadium; tickets to the Games; three Pasadena Rose
Bowl tickets for East-West Football; and photographs from the Games). Also additional photographs, copy prints, negatives
and transparencies, 1900-1988 (bulk is 1932)
