Description
David W. Hill, born in 1923 in Blanchard, North Dakota, moved to Ventura in 1932 with him family as a child. After graduating from high school, he joined the Army during World War II. He graduated from Northridge College, and in the 1970s he retired from Pt. Mugu Naval Missile Center as head of Editing and Publishing. Hill served as a docent at the Museum of Ventura County starting in 1981 and maintained a great interest in local history. This collection consists of photographs, negatives, ephemera, and photocopied reports created or collected by Hill.
Background
