McIver Black Lives Matter Protest Posters Collection consists of posters, notes, a flyer, and a sign that document the Black Lives Matters protests in Hollywood, California, from May to July 2020. Posters were created by multiple protestors and the materials were collected by Denise L. McIver, a research librarian at California African American Museum, during the protests.

    The Denise L. McIver Black Lives Matter Protest Posters Collection consists of posters, notes, a flyer, and a sign that document the Black Lives Matters protests in Hollywood, California, from May to July 2020. Posters were created by multiple protestors and the materials were collected by Denise L. McIver, a research librarian at California African American Museum, during protests. Posters are made out of cardboard, poster paper, corrugated plastic, envelopes, and paper bags. Some posters are signed and dated. The materials refer to the killings of George Floyd, Trayvon Martin, Sandra Bland, and Breonna Taylor, racism, white privilege, and police brutality.
    Collection folders are arranged alphabetically by title.
