Description
Robert Ichikawa was part of the 442nd RCT, E Company. These photos depict his time in
Nice, France; Sospel, France; and Camp Shelby, Mississippi in 1944 and 1945.
Background
Robert Ichikawa was born in Fresno, California in 1925 and volunteered for the Army from Amache, CO when he was 18. He became
a proud member of "E Co." 442nd RCT and fought in Italy and France. He passed away on 07/04/2011.
