Greg Day was active in San Francisco gay politics and culture in the 1970s and 1980; he was also a successful photographer.
This collection contains materials about a variety of groups in which he was involved, including the Alice B. Toklas Gay Democratic
Club, Greg Day political campaigns for Board of Supervisors and Board of Education, queer youth advocacy organizations, the
San Francisco Lesbian and Gay Freedom Day Parade, and the South of Market arts scene. Also included are posters and photographs.
Collection is open for research. Mailing lists and other records holding the names, addresses, and/or phone numbers of individuals
will be restricted for 20 years.
