This is a typed manuscript profiling Augustus Langenberger (1824-1895) and his wife Clementine Zimmerman (1842-1913), early settlers in Anaheim, California. A note on the manuscript reads: Sketches of Mrs. Mabel L. Aiken's Parents by her brother A. G. (Amadeus Gustavus) Langenberger.
Background
Augustus Langenberger (1824-1895) was a member of the original Los Angeles Vineyard Society, prominent businessman and civic leader. He was the first store-keeper in Anaheim.
