Subseries 2.3: Organizations and other career materials. 1966-2009.

Scope and Content

Subseries includes materials collected and produced for the many political, environmental, and LGBT-interest organizations pertaining to Wolt’s career. Among the organizations represented is Peace Press, which includes records generated during the alternative printing collective’s active years (circa 1970s) as well as recent materials (circa 2000s) relating to political art retrospective exhibits and collaborations with the Center for the Study of Political Graphics. Materials also document her work as a writer and editor with the Pentagon Papers Peace Project, which aimed to educate the public about the Pentagon Papers trial involving Daniel Ellsberg and Anthony Russo, who was a close friend of Wolt’s. Copies of the project’s newspaper, “The Pentagon Papers,” are also included. Coverage of her involvement as a member of the city council appointed Santa Monica Cable Communications Task Force is particularly extensive. Also included in this subseries are copies of her resume, cover letters, and audio recordings of interviews conducted with Wolt days before her death in July 2009.
