Scope and Contents
This collection contains Jade: the Asian American identity magazines (1974-1984) that were
published in Los Angeles by California Jade Publication Corp. These magazines were
transferred by the Manuscripts unit in 2021.
Also included in this collection is The Chinese and the Stanfords: Immigration Rhetoric in
Nineteenth-Century California, a master's thesis for California State Uniersity, East Bay
that written by Julie A. Cain, an employee of Stanford University.
