Description
The Department of Agriculture's primary responsibility is to enforce agricultural related laws and regulations pertaining
to pesticide use enforcement, weights and measures, State and Federal plant quarantine including export certification, State
seed and nursery inspection, and minimum State quality standards for produce. The Department is also responsible for carrying
out County-wide programs for both pest detection and weed and vertebrate pest management.
Restrictions
The Clerk-Recorder's main function is keeping the records for the County. The importance of this department lies in the historical
stability that is maintained by the preservation of records of civil activities. This collection reflects what the Clerk-Recorder's
office has given to the Yolo County Archives for preservation.
