    Content Description

This collection contains five correspondences addressed to John Urinka of Cudahy, Wisconsin, from various senders in the military. The letter's authors are Private First Class Reinold Woodford, Corporal Ruben Ollmann, and Corporal Joseph Jarecki. PFC Woodford wished Urinka a merry Christmas, informs him that he was wounded in Italy and is in the hospital, and passes on greetings from another man from Cudahy. Corporal Ollmann wrote about completing his training, replied to a letter Urinka sent him, and later forwarded a Christmas card. Corporal Jarecki sent two Christmas greeting cards. Another Christmas card was sent by Private Walter Ollmann.
