Description
Christine Tayleur was a trans woman, a counselor at the Tenderloin Self Help Center, and a co-founder of Transgender Nation. This collection contains materials related to her life of activism.
Background
Christine Tayleur was a Canadian trans woman, social worker, and co-founder of Transgender Nation. She was active in the San Francisco transgender scene between the 1970s and the 1990s, acting as an at-large representative on the San Francisco Task Force on Prostitution and a board member of Community United Against Violence
