    Biography

    Rudolph Valentino was an Italian-born actor. He arrived in Hollywood in 1917, after a stint in New York. His appearance in THE SHEIK (1921) and other films of the early 1920s brought him stardom and celebrity. Emily Leider is an American writer and the biographer of Mae West and Rudolph Valentino.
