Abstract: A letterpress book containing copies of the Company President's outgoing correspondence for 1904 illustrates the day-to-day
operation of the Pittsburg, Shawmut & Northern Railroad. This internal correspondence includes letters to the Auditor/Comptroller,
Chief Controlling Officer, Superintendent, Chief Engineer and company Vice-President. Subjects include: administrative/personnel
matters and internal disputes, purchase of land, new construction, bridges, joint leases, and finances.
