Scope and Content of Collection
This collection contains materials from the Metaphysical Alliance, a group based in San Francisco that practiced spiritual
healing for people with AIDS during the height of the crisis in the mid-1980s. This collection contains photographs of the
group and its members during sessions and events, and a DVD of a forum held by the Metaphysical Alliance at the Unitarian
Church in San Francisco on January 1987, titled “AIDS Survivors and Thrivers”. Long-term survivors Ron Carey, Bobby Reynolds,
and Dan Turner are featured in the forum, including Mike Zonta, Director of the Metaphysical Alliance. GSSO linked terms:
