The Forty Niner's Hope Milling and Mining Company was incorporated on 05/24/1887. At that time the Directors were: Charles
Hinsberg, F.H. Busby, G.W.F. Cook, E.H. Rhodes and William Grant. The company charter was revoked in December of 1905 for
failure to pay their corporation license tax to the state of California.
Original certificate, dated 05/24/1887, certifying that the articles of incorporation for the Forty Niner's Hope Milling and
Mining Company were received and certified by the City and County of San Francisco. The certificate is signed by William C.
Hendricks, Secretary of State, and J.H.B. Davidson, Deputy.
