Charles Magnus was a print publisher
and lithographer from New York City who sold letter sheets, maps, song sheets, envelopes and
other prints from 1850 to 1899, and was especially popular during the Civil War. The
collection consists of two illustrated song sheets printed and distributed by Magnus during
the Civil War era.
