Description
Letters of American mining Engineer John T. Fuller while working at the De Beers Consolidated Mines in Kimberley, South Africa.
Background
John T. Fuller was an American mining engineer. He was born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania in November 1880. He graduated from Lehigh University of South Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He worked for several mining companies including Colonial Coal & Coke Company in Virginia, the De Beers Consolidated Mines in South Africa, the American Bauxite Company, and the Aluminum Corporation of America. He was married to Rebecca Thompson; the couple had two children. Fuller died in May 1939.
