Description
The collection consists of one photograph album, containing 126 original gelatin silver photographs taken during the early
1940s by an unknown United States (U.S.) airman stationed at Albrook Field and Rio Hato bases in the U.S. Controlled Panama
Canal Zone during World War II. Photographs in the album include handwritten captions, and show images of the two U.S. air
bases, group shots and portraits of fellow airmen, local scenery, native Panamanians, and local events and outings.
