Description
This collection contains the research files, bibliographic records, publications, exhibit proposals, and various committee and organization materials of Chicano Movement scholar and activist Dr. Antonio Ríos-Bustamante.
Background
Dr. Antonio Ríos-Bustamante is a leading scholar and activist in the Chicano movement through his ongoing involvement with many Chicano organizations such as La Raza Unida Party, the Chicano Moratorium, CASA, the Chicano Immigration Movement, and the Chicano Public History Movement. Dr. Ríos-Bustamante is a Professor of Chicano Studies at California State University Stanislaus, and author of many books on Chicano and Latino history. He has also taught at the University of California, Santa Barbara, the University of Arizona, and the University of Wyoming.
