Five photographs of Ralph Kaneshiro's time in the MIS in the Philippines and Japan between September 1945 and October 1946.
Most of the photos are of him and other soldiers at camp waiting for assignment but some are of Ralph on leave or waiting
to debark to the US.
Isamu Ralph Kaneshiro was born in Hawaii on August 8, 1925. He was drafted into the Army and trained at the Schofield Barracks
in Oahu, Hawaii. He was in the Military Intelligence Service (MIS) unit and was stationed in the Philippines and in Japan.
He now lives in Southern California.
