Description
Rosalie Blau made many important contributions to the field of childhood education, and was a member of the California Association for the Education of Young Children until 1955. The Rosalie M. Blau Collection documents her personal involvement in the field of childhood education between the years 1932 to 1986, and includes articles, correspondence, minutes, notes, reports, research notes, and resumes.
Background
Rosalie Blau was born in Lynn, Massachusetts on August 12, 1905. In 1922, she moved to Los Angeles. She married Samuel Blau in 1924, with whom she had two children, Jacqueline and Lawrence.
