Documents and correspondence relating to the service and experience of Benjamin Newton
Wade, M.D., in the U.S. Army, both state-side and in france, from 1917-1919. Collection
contains twenty-five military documents (several being duplicates), two incoming and two
outgoing letters, and several other pieces. In addition, there is a review of a paper
published by Dr. Wade in Endocrinology in 1921. Wade's assignment in France was treating
soldiers with venereal and other communicable diseases.
