In addition to a long career of pastoral work Al Kroeker was well known for his work as the director of the radio show, Words of the Gospel. Alvin E. Kroeker was born in Dallas, OR July 6, 1921 and died in Kingsburg, CA July 17, 2004. A pastor of many Mennonite Brethren and Baptist Churches he was known as an energetic visionary who encouraged many through his love of God and People. In addition to a long career of pastoral work Al Kroeker was well known for his work as the director of Words of the Gospel. A half hour radio program broadcast on Sunday mornings Words of the Gospel was the radio voice of the US MB Church in the 1960s.
