    Scope and Content

    Photographs of Africa Including South Africa, Mozambique, Egypt and elsewhere in North Africa and the Middle East [1890's]. The professional photographer is not identified. 23 photos on Egypt (mostly antiquities but there are some other scenes and settings including our cover photo); 4 from Algeria; 11 from South Africa 2 (smaller) from Mozambique; and 1 (smaller) from Greece. Locations of the rest of the photos unclear but most appeared to be somewhere in North Africa or Egypt.
