Biography/Administrative History
In her own words -“Being a photojournalist allows me a front row seat to explore our world and the interesting people sharing
it. I love covering the wide array of events not knowing from day to day what story may unfold. From the gray whales of Baja
California to the joy of a baseball game to the intensity of breaking news and the emotion of human interest stories, everyday
I seem to learn something new. In 1981 I earned a Bachelors of Arts in journalism with an emphasis in photography from Cal
State Long Beach followed by an internship at the Los Angeles Times. I’ve worked at various publications in Bay Area News
Group since 1983. After working at the Times-News in Idaho I returned to my native California where I have made my home nestled
near Mount Diablo with my husband and two children.”
