This collection contains one letter from a soldier named Will [unknown last name] to a woman named Annie during the Civil War. Will describes the low morale of the men and his faith: "The future looks dark and gloomy but I trust in a higher power than that of men to carry us through safely. Our soldiers are very much discouraged and say they will not stand another campaign."
