    Abstract: This collection of Logbooks (HDC 189, SAFR 16472) contains four volumes for three different vessels captained by H.C. Lund. There is an undated pilot house log for the steam schooner ECOLA on a voyage from Valparaiso, Chile via Honolulu to Coos Bay, Oregon. Although only eight pages are filled, more than half contain an account of the tug towing the ECOLA breaking up in a storm. The second volume is a 1904 log that also contains cash accounts for crew members on a voyage of the barkentine GARDINER CITY departing from Tacoma, Washington. The third and fourth volumes are smooth logs for the bark HARRY MORSE on two voyages (1906 and 1907) from Astoria, Washington to Boston, Massachusetts. The collection is available for use without restriction.
