Letters from past servants of the Meacham family 1872-1894

Scope and Contents

This folder includes three letters. One letter dated 1874 July 12 is addressed to Mr. Meachum and signed "Ah Voon." The second letter is dated 1872 March 15 and addressed to "Mr. George W. Meachum," signed "From your China Boy, Ah Chun". The third letter is dated 1894 July 14 and addressed to "Miss Georychiayer." This letter is signed from "Ah hoy".

Pencil sketches by Charlotte I My Hon undated

Scope and contents

Sketches are mounted on mat boards. One sketch looks to be of an older Joaquin Miller and "Study of an old man by Charlotte My Hon" is written on the back. Another sketch is a signed self-portrait of Charlotte with inscription"Signed by herself."
