Czech-American political scientist.

Scope and Content of the Collection

The collection contains the typescript of the unpublished memoir of Jan Triska, titled Caught Up In History, which relates to conditions in Czechoslovakia and post-World War II immigration to the United States.. Triska was a a Czech émigré and professor of political science at Stanford University. The memoir documents Triska's life in Europe before arriving at Stanford.
