This collection contains one scrapbook compiled by Veronica MacDonald Hubert and her husband Leo Hubert during the Second
World War. It contains letters and cards from soldiers with whom they worked at a factory in Collinsville, Massachusetts,
as well as some clippings.
Background
Veronica MacDonald Hubert worked at the American Woolen Mill in Collinsville, Massachusetts and volunteered to be the mill
representative to workers who left to join the military in 1942. She collected and mailed care packages to them as well as
sending and receiving letters from them. The scrapbook was assembled by Veronica and her husband Leo.
