Biography/Administrative History

Steven Kunes, born in 1956, is a television writer, screenwriter and playwright. After graduating from NYU, his first job in Hollywood was working on a.k.a. Pablo for Embassy and producer Norman Lear. He has worked on television shows such as Kate & Allie, Small Wonder and Trial and Error and contributed to the scripts of many films. His most recent work is a webseries Over My Dead Body.

Scope and Content of Collection

This collection of scripts includes Kunes' produced teleplays as well as unproduced feature films such as First Comes Love, Rum Runners, Dinner at the Homesick Café, and Where Is Joe Merchant. Plays include Clock Without Hands (based on the book by Carson McCullers), Suzy & Sam, Then Again, and others.
