The La Campana History Papers are comprised of the local history articles published in La Campana from 1970 to the present. La Campana, the membership publication of the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation, includes original research in the fields of history, archaeology, and historic preservation.

Since 1970, members of the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation (SBTHP) have received La Campana as a benefit of membership. In addition to keeping members informed about SBTHP’s events, programs and preservation projects, this membership publication includes original research in the fields of history, archaeology, and historic preservation, and book reviews.

All requests for permission to publish or quote from manuscripts must be submitted in writing to the Associate Director for Historical Resources. Permission for publication is given on behalf of the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation Research Center as the owner of the physical items and is not intended to include or imply permission of the copyright holder, which must also be obtained by the reader. Copyright restrictions also apply to digital facsimiles of the original materials. Use of digital files is restricted to research and educational purposes.
