Abstract: The James Meagher Collection consists of eleven 10.5" open reel audiotape recordings. The recordings include 1960s recordings of the Oscar Peterson Trio (Oscar Peterson, Ray Brown, and Ed Thigpen), a KPFA recording of Count Ory, and The Skybirds.
The James Meagher Collection consists of eleven 10.5" open reel audiotapes. These recordings include the Oscar Peterson Trio (Oscar Peterson, Ed Thigpen and Ray Brown) at the Sunset Auditorium, a KPFA recording of Count Ory, and The Skybirds. The tapes were collected by James Meagher and later donated to the Stanford Archive of Recorded Sound by his family.
The collection is in original order.
