Description
The Librarians Association of the University of California (LAUC), founded in 1967, is a state-wide organization of all librarians employed at least half time by the University. LAUC-I is the local division for the University of California, Irvine and its formal objectives are to advise library administration on professional standards, rights, privileges, and obligations of members of the Librarian Series at UCI and the planning, evaluation, and implementation of programs, services, and/or technological changes for the improvement of services and collections in the UCI Libraries. This collection consists of administrative records of the organization, including correspondence, budget documents, calendars, planning documents, drafts of bylaws, reports, meeting agendas and minutes, and audio of meetings.
