Abstract: This is a small collection of newspapers published in Chicago between 1898 and 1901 that contain front-page articles about
President William McKinley, primarily his election and his assassination. Included are editions of the Chicago Daily Tribune,
the Sunday Times-Herald, the Elgin Daily News,and the Chicago Record-Herald. The newspapers are extremely fragile.
