    This is a collection of newspaper clippings of two serial columns by the Reverend John Steele, bound in a single scrapbook by Library staff. The columns, "Across the Plains in 1850" and its sequel, "In Camp And Cabin" ran in the Wisonsin newspaper, the Lodi Enterprise from 1930-1931.
